Susan Blattner
Recreation Supervisor

Susan came to the City of Lenexa in 1993 as a Recreation Supervisor for Senior Programs. She graduated from Shawnee Mission North High School and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Recreation Administration & Special Populations from Kansas State University. She received her CLP (Certified Leisure Professional) in 1998 and is a member of the Leadership Lenexa class of 1996.

Susan was the YMCA Program Director in Enid, Oklahoma from 1980 to 1986, the YMCA Associate Director in Hendersonville, North Carolina from 1986 to 1992, and owner/operator of Crystal Pools & Spas from 1992 to 1993.

Susan has a love for all sports including kickboxing, racquetball, volleyball, running, and swimming. She loves to swim and actively competes with the Master's Swimming Program. Her real passion is purple passion. She regularly attends and cheers for her Kansas State Wildcats.

Susan is also busy with her two children as they are very active in school activities and sports.
